      <image:caption>A native of Manchester, New Hampshire, Aaron Tolson continues to make his mark by championing the movement of the art form of Tap in several arenas. Mr. Tolson is a national spokesperson for dance wear company SoDanca, a consultant and writer for Dance Spirit Magazine, a Professor of Dance at Plymouth State University and the Boston Conservatory, as well as the assistant choreographer, co-creator and assistant producer of the acclaimed stage production Imagine Tap!. Aaron started dancing at the age of ten in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Four years into his dance career he was performing in the Great Tap Reunion at the Apollo Theatre. He attended St. John's University obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications all the while honing his tap technique in Manhattan. His senior year of college landed him in the New York Shakespeare Festival tap program, also known as Funk U! Soon Aaron became a company member of Manhattan Tap and worked with the show Tap Dogs. Jumping feet first into choreography, he landed a job with Absolut with a tour called Absolut Tap! In 2005, Aaron completed a six-year run with Riverdance, the internationally acclaimed show with performances on Broadway and Radio City Music Hall where he was a featured soloist and dance captain. Since then, Aaron has performed and taught at numerous tap festivals, in addition to performing with Brookline Chorus’ Duke Ellington Sacred Concert, The Late Late Show with Liam O’Conner in Ireland and on Globo TV representing the Brazil International Tap Festival. Most recently, Aaron was featured on Dance.com and has choreographed, produced and directed Something to Tap About and Tapped and Tapped In - featuring New England Tap Ensemble. Aaron formed New England Tap Ensemble in May of 2007 to promote the art of tap in the community while fostering a sense of individuality in a professional artist.       <image:caption>April Cook is an NYC-based teacher, choreographer, and dancer from Charlotte, NC, who has been on BDC's faculty since 2004. She received her formative training under Gene Medler of the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, Barbara Morgan Eaves, of Rhythm Dance Studio, and Miss Donna's School of Dance. April currently teaches throughout the country, and is a judge/teacher for several competitions and conventions including NYCDA, Mainstage Productions, Dance Theater USA, The PTC Productions Annual Teacher Workshop/The PULSE on Tour, and The Big Apple Tap Festival. She has had the pleasure of leading and/or creating several projects throughout her years at Broadway Dance Center, including the annual Student Showcase and BDC's Rhythm Arts Project. New York Times proclaims "he is a non stop source of rhythmic variety and surprise….sparks seem to fly from those shoes!” DeWitt has danced as a soloist with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, and with artist such as Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Marvin Hamlisch, Christian McBride, Bobby Sanabria, and Wycliffe Gordon, among others. In New York City he has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Harlem School of the Arts, Queens College, and various dance institutions. He has also taught at various festivals/workshops and institutions throughout the world including the renowned dance conservatory at Limerick College in Ireland. DeWitt is also a Choreographer.       <image:caption>Gwen Potter was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and for the last ten years has realized her childhood dreams of being a dancer, choreographer, and teacher here in NYC. Gwen received a BA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Gwen has had the great pleasure of performing on many different platforms within the commercial dance and live stage genres. Her performance credits include: Good Morning America, Adidas, Alice and Olivia, Smashbox Cosmetics, Reebok, Harlem Globetrotters, Facebook, Thinx, and many more. She also studied and performed with Anthony Locascio’s Taplife company for just under two years. Gwen’s choreographic work has graced the stage of many reputable venues in the city such as Alvin Ailey, Lincoln Center, Dixon Place, Highline Ballroom, and other dance festivals in the tri-state area. She also teaches masterclasses and sets work for dance studios and non-profit companies around the country. As well as performing, teaching, and choreographing she enjoys movement coaching and has had the great pleasure of working with musical artists such as: Xavier White, Shenna, Rica Shay Jennifair, Calvin Play, Machineheart, and more. One of Gwen’s biggest passions is educating the future generation of dancers and inspiring them as her teachers once did for her. She is on faculty with BDC’s Children and Teens Program teaching a variety of styles, and runs their Tap company, Rhythm Arts Project. Gwen’s passion for teaching grows deeper each day as she delves into an ever-broadening range of dance styles. Jared's theater credits include, "After Midnight on Broadway", directed by Warren Carlyle, "Twist", directed by Debbie Allen, "Babes in Arms" at the Goodspeed Opera House choreographed by Randy Skinner, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" directed by John Rando at (Encores) and Broadway Underground directed by himself. Grimes has appeared in commercials for Coca-Cola, Subway, MTV and television shows such as CBS' "Star Search," "Showtime at the Apollo," ABC Family's "Dance Fever" and "The Jerry Lewis Telethon." His television acting credits include Foxs' "Fringe" and HBO's "Boardwalk Empire". Grimes made his choreography debut in Cirque Du Soleil's, Banana Shpeel off-broadway, choreographed commercials for Chilis and also assisted choreography with Kristin Denehy for Macy's popular Kids Bop commercial. Recently he is a choreographer of "After Midnight on Broadway" and associate choreographer of "Holler If You Hear Me" the Tupac musical. His feature film credits include, Paramount's, "The Marc Pease Experience", starring Ben Stiller, New Line Cinema's "Little Manhattan" and Elevation Filmwork's' "First Born," starring Elizabeth Shue.       <image:caption>Jason E. Bernard is a native New Yorker from The Bronx, New York. He began experiencing theater at the age of four and began his Tap training at the age of six at The Ruth Williams Dance School and The Dance Theatre Of Harlem. At the age of 17 Jason made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-Winning musical Bring In Da' Noise, Bring In Da' Funk. In 2000, Jason made his feature film debut in The Spike Lee Film Bamboozled as J. Bunny. Jason has had the honor of dancing alongside Gregory Hines in The Showtime Original Movie Bojangles. He also toured the world for ten years with the international dance show Riverdance in addition to briefly joining its Broadway cast. Jason was featured in two productions for Cois Ceim Dance Theatre, Dodgems, and Boxes, both in Ireland. Most recently, he was featured in the Broadway production After Midnight (Cotton Club Parade). Utilizing his extensive knowledge of the theater, Jason directed and was the wardrobe supervisor for Kris Johnson's Jim Crow's Tears. Justin served on guest faculty at The Juilliard School, The Pulse, Broadway Donation, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Artists Alliance. He has conducted master classes throughout the country and also adjudicated for Elite Dance Challenge. From 2012 to 2014 he served as artist in residence and professor of dance/theatre at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Justin, along with colleague Sol Bloch, is co-founder of the non-profit company, New Generation Theatre in Rockland County, producing sophisticated musicals with area high school students while educating them in the craft of musical theatre.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Karen Callaway Williams, an original member of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble and its first Dance Captain, is currently featured on the cover of Flow Magazine Summer Issue. She can be seen in the current documentary Been Rich All My Life (The Story of the Silver Belles).Broadway credits include Tony Award Nominated Duke Ellington musical PlayOn and the International Phenomenon Riverdance-On Broadway of which she was the first African American female tap dancer and dance captain. A special quest artist on Sesame Street she was also interviewed in Bojangles the Legacy for Showtime. Karen tours nationally and internationally with Tap City in Tour and Tap Tel Aviv.Other credits include Essence Magazine, Dance Magazine, and performances at the Cotton Club and the Apollo. She has been a quest tap soloist for several orchestras including The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati PopsLook for the upcoming release of her first children’s book “Gabriella’s Tap Shoes”.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Lisa’s credit highlights includes original cast member of SHUFFLE ALONG on Broadway choreographed by Savion Glover and directed by George C. Wolfe. With the cast she performed live at the 70th Annual TONY Awards and with the Maya &amp; Marty show on NBC. Along with the ensemble she was recipient of the Fred Astaire award for “Outstanding Ensemble in a Broadway show” and the A.C.C.A. Actor’s Equity Award for “Outstanding Broadway Chorus”. On Television Ms. La Touche recently appears as principal stage dancer on episode 6 of Amazon's Original TV series Z- The Beginning of Everything starring Christina Ricci with choreography by John Carrafa. Some of her previous overall performance highlights have also included touring with Savion Glover in his production of STEPZ, and also performing in both New York's Off-Broadway and the North American touring casts of STOMP. She was in the original ensemble of Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards "Sophisticated Ladies" performing weekly at The Cotton Club in Harlem and also a member of Jason Samuel Smith's company A.C.G.I. Lisa La Touche has performed, choreographed and taught worldwide on various independent projects and was also faculty member of the School of Jacob's pillow under the direction of her mentor Dianne Walker. She is currently guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and artist in residence at the American Tap Dance Foundation and loves sharing her passion with artists of all ages. She is currently continuing her studies in acting at both Matthew Newton and Susan Batson Studios, and works with vocal coaches Shelton Becton and Susan Eichborn Young. She believes whole heartedly that we are all to trust and follow our inspirations and welcome a journey of unlimited opportunities.</image:caption>
